Man Arrested after Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on El Camino Real in San Carlos


San Carlos, California (December 13, 2019) – 70-year-old Douglas Caraway of San Carlos has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that left one person injured in San Carlos on Wednesday evening.

The accident happened at a parking lot at 500 El Camino Real at an unspecified in the evening.

A female driver in her 70s is reported to have been engaged in an argument over a parking spot with Caraway.

Caraway reportedly struck the unidentified woman and walked away.

The woman sustained injuries in the accident and was treated at the scene.

Caraway was later located and arrested and charged with hit-and-run and assault with a deadly weapon.
