California (December 12, 2019) – A woman was seriously injured in a car
crash in Rancho Cordova on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident
happened on Highway 50 at Sunrise Boulevard at about 10 p.m. December 11.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The events
leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
A woman is reported to have exited the car after the
accident and was struck by a passing car.
The woman sustained major injuries in the accident and was
transported to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment.
Other occupants of the car sustained minor injuries in the accident.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
