Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident at 13th Street and Santa Clara Street in San Jose


San Jose, California (December 11, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in San Jose late last month.

The pedestrian accident happened at about 8 a.m. November 27, at 13th Street and Santa Clara Street.

San Jose Police Department said the pedestrian was walking in the area and was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

The 72-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he died on November 29.

The identity of the man was not publicly disclosed.
