Woman Killed in Car Crash at West Olive Avenue and Austin Avenue in Merced


Merced, California (December 9, 2019) – A woman was killed in a car accident in Merced on Monday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at West Olive Avenue and Austin Avenue at about 2 p.m.

A 61-year-old woman was reportedly driving a 1994 Toyota Camry on Austin Avenue and was turning onto West Olive Avenue when it collided with an eastbound 2001 Toyota Tundra driven by 72-year-old Dan Gruych.

A third vehicle was involved in the accident.

The unidentified woman was killed in the accident.

The conditions of the drivers of the two vehicles were not immediately disclosed.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
