Terry Tilton Killed in DUI Car Crash on Highway 227 in San Luis Obispo


San Luis Obispo, California (December 10, 2019) – 72-year-old Terry Tilton has been identified as the man who was killed is a suspected DUI head-on collision that occurred last week in San Luis Obispo.

The fatal car accident happened on Highway 227 on Sunday, December 1, according to a local news source.

The California Highway Patrol said 26-year-old Chelsea AnnMarie Stiles of Arroyo Grande was allegedly driving a car while under the influence when she collided head-on with a car driven by Tilton.

Tilton, a resident of San Luis Obispo, was killed in the accident.

Stiles was arrested and booked into San Luis Obispo County Jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, driving under the influence of drugs among other charges.
