Madera County, California (December 10, 2019) – 74-year-old Terry Lee Lishman has been identified as the
person who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Sunday morning in Madera
The fatal accident was reported at about noon, December 8, on Highway 41 near Road 208.
According to the CHP, a red Chevrolet Malibu
was heading northbound on Highway 41 when the driver lost control in heavy rain
and slid onto the opposite lanes where it crashed into a gray Toyota pickup and
a blue Ford sedan.
Lishman, who was driving the Malibu, was
pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics who responded to the crash.
The Ford driver and a passenger sustained
minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital in Fresno.
The driver of the Toyota pickup truck was also
hospitalized with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
