Jackub Hildreth, of Texas, Arrested for Carving his Name on Girlfriend’s Forehead with Knife

A man from San Antonio, Texas, has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend and carving his name on her forehead, a local news source reported.

19-year-old Jackub Hildreth was arrested Friday night after the attack that happened Thursday.

Police said Hildreth was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He allegedly punched his girlfriend, Catalina Mireles, 22, multiple times, and carved his name into her forehead using a knife.

Mireles said the attack started Thursday morning through to the afternoon. She said she met Hildreth on Facebook four weeks before the attack.

The victim sustained a broken jaw, a black eye, and extreme swelling and bruising on her face.

Mireles told a local news source that she thought Hildreth was going to kill her. “He was going to put me in the closet until he figured out what he was going to do with my body,” she said.

According to court records, Hildreth has two outstanding warrants for burglary assault and family violence-strangulation.

The suspect was being held on a $75,000 bond as of Sunday evening. He is scheduled to appear in court next month.
