2 Men Killed in Car Crash at Kendall Drive and Lakewood Street in San Bernardino


San Bernardino, California (December 7, 2019) – Two men were killed in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in San Bernardino on Thursday afternoon.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 12:30 p.m. December 5, at Kendall Drive and Lakewood Street.

CHP said 86-year-old David Wesley was driving a Nissan pickup truck westbound on Kendall Drive and was making a turn at the intersection when it collided with a Volkswagen Beetle driven by 19-year-old Jazmin Lewis.

A passenger in the Nissan, 72-year-old Christopher Robinson, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Wesley was hospitalized but later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

Lewis and an unidentified passenger in the Beetle and were transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries,

No other information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
