Man Killed in Van Nuys Bicycle Accident at Kester Avenue and Victory Boulevard


Van Nuys, California (December 8, 2019) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, on Saturday evening.

The accident happened at Kester Avenue and Victory Boulevard at about 6 p.m. December 7, according to a local news source.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division said a vehicle was traveling westbound when it struck a man on a bicycle at the intersection.

The bicyclist, a man in his 40s, was rushed to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
