Four people were killed in a shooting that left two other people wounded near Mexico’s National Palace on Saturday.
An armed man is reported to have entered a building in Mexico City near the palace when a scuffle ensued between him and two people in the building.
The man pulled a pistol and opened fire. The police responded to the scene and found the gunman dead along with two other people.
Three people were wounded in the accident and were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. One of the patients died while being transported to the hospital.
President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador was not at the palace at the time of the accident.
The police responded to the incident and cordoned off the street that opens onto an entrance of the National Palace.
