Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car at Linda Vista Road and Markham Street in San Diego


San Diego, California (December 8, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car near Mesa College in San Diego on Saturday night.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 10:20 p.m. December 7, at Linda Vista Road and Markham Street.

San Diego Police Department said a pedestrian was hit by a car in the area for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian was killed in the accident.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Mesa College Drive and northbound Linda Vista Road were temporarily blocked as the authorities examined the scene.

No other information was provided.                                  

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
