1 Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Olde Highway 80

Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Car on Old Highway 80 in Descanso, San Diego


San Diego, California (December 7, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Descanso, San Diego, on Friday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at about 5 p.m. December 6, in the 14000 block of Olde Highway 80.

A pedestrian was reportedly walking in the area and was struck by a Toyota 4Runner.

The pedestrian, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.                                                     

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
