San Diego, California (December 4, 2019) – A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident in a San Diego on Tuesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Mira Mesa Boulevard near 15 Freeway at about 5:19 p.m. December 3.

The authorities said a female pedestrian was walking in the area and was hit by a red sedan.

The unidentified pedestrian sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No further information was provided.
