Man Killed in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at East Truxtun Avenue and Sonora Street


Bakersfield, California (December 4, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident involving a train that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in East Bakersfield.

According to a report by Bakersfield police, the accident happened at about 2:20 p.m. in the area of East Truxtun Avenue and Sonora Street.

The authorities said a pedestrian was hit by a train in the area for unknown reasons.

The unidentified man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
