San Jose, California (December 3, 2019) – Francisco Garza, 34, and Rosa Garza, 61, were identified as two people who were killed in a car accident on Sunday morning in San Jose.
The deadly collision occurred at about 4:10 a.m. December 1, on Highway 101 near Interstate 280 Freeway.
As per a local news report, 21-year-old Esteban Aguilar Jimenez was driving a Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed when he slammed into a Nissan Rogue driven by Francisco Garza.
Rosa Garza, who was a passenger in the Nissan, was killed in the crash.
Francisco and another unidentified passenger were rushed to the Regional Medical Center of San Jose for treatment. Sadly, Francisco succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
Jimenez was later arrested on suspicion of DUI.
No other details concerning the accident were provided.
