Escondido, California (November 30, 2019) – A bicyclist was killed last Saturday in an alleged hit-and-run accident in Escondido, according to the police.
The fatal crash happened at about 11:52 a.m. November 23, in the 1600 block of La Honda Drive.
Police said Kevin Lentz, 36, of Vista, was riding a bicycle southbound when he was struck head-on by a dark-colored Toyota sedan.
The sedan left the scene after the accident.
Lentz was killed in the crash.
The sedan was later recovered in the 600 block of Aster Street.
Jamison Connor, 41, was arrested on Thursday, on an unrelated parole warrant. He was linked to the fatal crash.
The authorities are investigating the crash.
