1 Killed and 2 Injured in Car Crash on Pomona (60) Freeway near Ontario (15) Freeway in Eastvale


Eastvale, California (November 30, 2019) – One person was killed in a multi-car crash that happened on Saturday morning in Eastvale, the police said.

The fatal accident was reported at about 3:15 a.m. on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway near Ontario (15) Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided on the roadway for unknown reasons. The impact of the collision reportedly caused one car to overturn

One person was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries while the second refused treatment.

The identities of the victims were not disclosed.

All westbound lanes of the Pomona Freeway were closed after the crash to facilitate examination of the scene.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
