Mendocino, California (November 29, 2019) – The authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a pedestrian accident that killed a skateboarder in Mendocino in July.
The pedestrian accident happened on Highway 1 at Little Lake Street at about 10:50 p.m. Thursday, July 18.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Calum Taite Pulido of Mendocino was riding a skateboard when he was hit by a car driven by 41-year-old Gina Rae Bean.
Pulido was killed in the accident.
36-year-old Ricky Faustino Santos, who was a passenger in the involved vehicle, was arrested on Thursday, November 28, in connection with the fatal accident.
Bean was yet to be located.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
