Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car on Goldenwest Street near Warner Avenue in Huntington Beach


Huntington Beach, California (November 27, 2019) – A man died after being struck by a car in Huntington Beach on Tuesday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:30 p.m. November 26, on Goldenwest Street near Warner Avenue.

CHP said a 69-year-old man was walking in the area when a grey 2014 Ford Mustang struck him.

The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The motorist reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Further information on the accident was not immediately available.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
