(November 26, 2019) – 26-year-old Gabriel
Roberts has been identified as the man who was killed in a bicycle accident on
Saturday night in Richmond.
As per a police report, the accident happened at about 8:15
p.m., November 23, on westbound Interstate 80 Freeway near Richmond Parkway.
The California Highway Patrol said Roberts was riding a bicycle
westbound on 80 Freeway when a vehicle struck him.
Roberts is reported to have been struck by several other cars,
and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Information about the motorist was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
