Manteca, California (November 25, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Manteca on Sunday evening.

The fatal collision occurred on West Lathrop Road near 5th Street at about 6:47 p.m. November 24.

A motorcycle and a car are reported to have collided on the roadway for unknown reasons.

The rider was killed in the crash.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.

CHP said the involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

 The Manteca Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
