Man Critically Hurt in Santa Ynez Motorcycle Accident on Refugio Road


Santa Ynez, California (November 25, 2019) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a traffic collision on Sunday afternoon in Santa Ynez, the police said.

The accident happened in the 1900 block of Refugio Road at about 12:32 p.m. November 24.

According to the authorities, a man in his 20s was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a truck pulling a horse trailer on N. Refugio Road.

The car was reportedly trying to make a turn when the accident happened.

The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the truck and another rider on the motorcycle were unhurt.

No further information concerning the crash was provided.

The police are investigating the accident.
