Eileen Sayegh and Denise Leverenz Killed in Car Crash at Beach Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue in Westminster


Westminster, California (November 24, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of two women who were killed in a car accident in Westminster on Thursday, November 21.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision occurred at about 4:20 p.m. at Beach Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue.

As per the report, three vehicles were involved in the collision. The manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established.

The driver of one of the cars, 58-year-old Eileen Sayegh of Anaheim, died at the scene of the accident.

A passenger in another car, 56-year-old Denise Leverenz of Huntington Beach, was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center where she died while undergoing treatment.

The authorities said the drivers of the other vehicles were hospitalized in unknown conditions.

No further information was provided.       

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
