Daly City, California (November 21, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Daly City on Thursday morning.

According to a local news source, the accident happened on 280 Freeway near John Daly Boulevard at about 2:54 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol said a pedestrian was walking in the area and was hit by a car for unknown reasons.

The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
