Industry, California (November 21, 2019) – One person was hit and killed by a commuter train on Thursday
night in Industry, according to the authorities.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened at
about 8:15 p.m. in the 13200 block of Amar Road.
The California Highway Patrol said the events
leading to the collision were not immediately established.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the
scene. The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The train returned to the Baldwin Park Station
after the accident to allow the detectives to investigate the accident.
Passengers were offered vouchers for alternative transit.
No additional information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
