Man Struck and Killed by Car at Etiwanda Avenue and Fourth Street in Fontana


Fontana, California (November 22, 20190 – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in Fontana on Thursday morning.

According to a local news source, the fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at about 4:40 a.m. at Etiwanda Avenue and Fourth Street.

The California Highway Patrol said the 45-year-old man was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.

Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station and the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Department responded to the incident and rendered aid to the pedestrian.

Sadly, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries at the scene of the accident.

The 51-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man who was driving the vehicles was unhurt.

The Rancho Cucamonga Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the accident.
