Lemon Grove California (November 21, 2019) – A woman died after being struck by a San Diego MTS trolley on Wednesday afternoon in Lemon Grove.

According to a report by the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal accident occurred at Lemon Grove and Massachusetts avenues at about 3:45 p.m. November 20.

A woman was reportedly waiting for a train when an eastbound train struck and dragged her about 100yards.

The officials pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

A bridge bus was requested to transport the passengers to their destination.

No additional details concerning the accident were provided

An investigation into the accident is underway.
