Obledo has been identified as the bicyclist who was struck and killed by a
vehicle on Monday evening in Half-moon Bay.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred at
Airport Street and Stanford Avenue at about 6:10 p.m., November 18.
Obledo was reportedly riding a bicycle northbound in on Airport
Street when a southbound 1998 Toyota struck him.
According to the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office, Obledo died
at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota driver, a 33-year-old East Palo Alto
man, stopped after the accident and cooperated with the authorities.
The police are investigating the accident.
