(November 21, 2019) – 66-year-old Mai Le has been identified as the woman who was killed
in a car accident in the Talmadge area of San Diego on Monday evening.
to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian accident happened on El
Cajon Boulevard near 46th Street at about 5 p.m. November 18.
authorities said Le was walking
in a crosswalk when she was hit by a Lexus SUV.
The paramedics who responded to
the incident had to extricate the pedestrian who was trapped underneath the vehicle.
woman was transported to Scripps Mercy Hospital in Hillcrest where she died
while undergoing treatment.
