California (November 21, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the name of
Kern County Sheriff’s Deputy who was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in
Bakersfield on Wednesday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at
about 6:40 a.m. November 20, on Highway 99 at Rosedale Highway.
The California Highway Patrol said Jasmine Gonzales was
driving a pickup truck on Rosedale and was entering Highway 99 when she crashed
into a vehicle driven by Deputy Travis Gaetzman.
The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to crash
into another pickup truck.
Gaetzman sustained minor injuries in the accident.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
