(November 20, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of a
woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident in San Jose last week Thursday.
According to a local news source, the accident happened on
Little Orchard Street near the Plant shopping center at about 6:13 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said 43-year-old Christine
Herrera was walking northbound on the roadway when she was hit by a 1999 Isuzu
Rodeo driven by Robert Allan Watts.
Herrera was transported to the hospital, where she died
while undergoing treatment.
Watts was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
