San Jose, California (November 20, 2019) – According to a local news source, nine people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision in San Jose Tuesday night.

The accident happened at Alum Rock Road and North Jackson Avenue at about 10:10 p.m. November 19.

The authorities who responded to the incident recovered three vehicles at the scene of the accident. Although the manner in which the collision occurred was not immediately established, two of the cars are reported to have collided head-on.

Two people are reported to have suffered major injuries in the accident.

Seven other people were injured in the crash and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The authorities closed a section of Alum Rock Avenue to facilitate examination and clearance of the scene.
