Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident at 5th Street and Arizona Avenue in Santa Monica, Rogelio Bobadilla Arrested


Santa Monica, California (November 19, 2019) – The authorities have arrested one person in connection with a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident that happened in Santa Monica on Sunday morning.

The happened at 5th Street and Arizona Avenue at about 12:50 a.m. November 17, according to a local news source.

The authorities said an elderly woman was walking in a crosswalk when she was hit by a car reportedly driven by Rogelio Bobadilla, 28.

The unidentified woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

Bobadilla fled the scene after the accident but was later located and arrested and booked into Santa Monica Jail.
