Moon Bay, California (November 18, 2019) – A bicyclist died after being struck
by a car in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County, on Monday evening.
The fatal bicycle accident happened
Street and Stanford Avenue near the Half Moon Bay Airport at
about 6:10 p.m.
A bicycle and a car are reported
to have collided for unknown reasons.
The events leading to the collision
were not immediately established. However, the California Highway Patrol
confirmed that the bicyclist was killed in the accident.
The identity of the bicyclist was
not immediately disclosed.
An investigation to determine the
cause of the accident is ongoing.
