Fresno police said at least 9 people were shot Sunday night when they were gathered to watch a football match in Fresno.
Several of them died, and several others remain hospitalized in critical condition.
The shooting happened at a Fresno home on Lamona Avenue off of Peach Avenue just after 6:00 p.m. during a family gathering.
Authorities said the victims had gathered to watch a football game when a suspect got into the backyard and opened fire.
