Boy Killed in Santa Clara Pedestrian Accident at Lafayette Street and Highway 101


Santa Clara, California (November 17, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, a boy died after being hit by a train in Santa Clara on Saturday afternoon.

The fatal accident happened at about 4:19 p.m. November 16, in the area of Lafayette Street and Highway 101.

As per the report, a young boy was walking in the area and was struck by a Union Pacific train.

The boy was killed in the accident.

The name of the pedestrian was killed in the accident.

No further information was provided.                  

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
