Woman Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Telephone Road and Ramelli Avenue in Ventura


Ventura, California (November 16, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Ventura on Friday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 5:19 p.m. November 15, in the area of Telephone Road and Ramelli Avenue.

As per the report, a woman was walking in the area when she was hit by a car.

The authorities who responded to the incident found the woman down on the roadway.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the woman was not immediately disclosed.

The collision resulted in a temporary closure of southbound Ramelli Avenue and westbound Telephone Road.

No further information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
