Yuba City, California (November 16, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of
a motorist who was killed in a head-on collision in Yuba City, Sutter County, on
According to a local news source, the fatal car accident happened at about 4:50 p.m. November 14, on Pass Road near West Butte Road.
The California Highway Patrol
said 48-year-old Steven Luke Flemming of Yuba City was driving a 2006 Honda
eastbound when he collided head-on with a 2019 Honda driven by a 17-year-old
girl from Live Oak.
The authorities did not
immediately disclose which vehicle drifted into the opposite lanes.
Flemming and the teenage
driver were killed in the accident.
A passenger in the second car,
identified only as a 17-year-old girl from Yuba City, sustained moderate
injuries in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
