1 Killed in Pedestrian Accident at Little Orchard Street and Camino Street in San Jose


San Jose, California (November 16, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a suspected DUI driver in San Jose on Thursday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happed at Little Orchard Street and Camino Street at about 6:13 p.m. November 14.

The authorities said a woman was walking northbound along Little Orchard Street when she was hit by a northbound 1999 Isuzu Rodeo driven by 28-year-old Robert Allan Watts.

The unidentified woman was transported to a local hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.

Watts was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.

The accident is under investigation.
