Pasadena, California (November 15, 2019) – A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Pasadena on Wednesday night.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 11:43 p.m. November 13, in the area of Marengo Avenue and Villa Street.
A bicyclist was reportedly traveling northbound on Marengo Avenue when he was struck by a Mercedes Benz that was traveling in the same direction.
The juvenile bicyclist was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
35-year-old Yiting Kang, who was driving the Mercedes, did not stop at the scene but was later located and arrested.
Kang, a resident of Fontana, was booked into the Pasadena jail for hit-and-run and DUI resulting in serious injury.
