Mountain View, California (November 14, 2019) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car on Thursday morning in Mountain View.

The accident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. at 37th Street and National Avenue, according to a local news source.

San Diego police said a pedestrian was walking in the area and was struck by a car.

The pedestrian reportedly sustained major head injuries in the accident.

The involved vehicle reportedly crashed into at least four other vehicles.

The involved motorist fled the scene and was yet to be located.
