Woodland, California (November 14, 2019) – Casey Joel Marston, 41, of Woodland, has been identified as
the tow truck driver who was killed in a car crash in Woodland on Tuesday
The accident happened at the intersection of Highway
16 and County Road 94B at about 4 p.m. November 12.
The California Highway Patrol said a woman was
driving a 2015 Subaru Crosstrek across the intersection when it was struck by an
eastbound tow truck driven by Marston.
The impact of the collision caused the tow
truck to overturn onto its roof in a ditch off the roadway.
Marston was killed in the accident.
The unidentified driver of the Subaru sustained
minor injuries in the accident.
No further information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
