Fresno, California (November 13, 2019) – A man who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Fresno on Monday
night has been identified as 20-year-old Xavier Olivares.
The accident happened on Highway 180 near
Highway 41 at about 10 p.m., November 11.
According to the California Highway Patrol,
Olivares was driving a car on the roadway when for unknown reasons, he crashed
into the center divider.
Olivares exited his vehicle and was reportedly
struck by a passing vehicle.
The collision triggered another crash
involving three vehicles.
Olivares was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information about the accident was
An investigation to determine the cause of the
accident is ongoing.
