Banning, California (November 11, 2019) – The Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department responded to a fatal multi-vehicle collision on Monday evening in Banning,

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 7:20 p.m. in the 1300 block of West Ramsey Street.

According to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department report, three vehicles were involved in the accident.

The circumstances behind the accident were not immediately disclosed.

CHP said one person was pronounced dead.

A second person is reported to have sustained moderate injuries in the accident.

The identities of the victims were not disclosed pending the notification of next-of-kin.

No further information was provided.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
