Driver Killed in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Highway 180 near Highway 41


Fresno, California (November 12, 2019) – A driver was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Fresno on Monday night.

The fatal accident happened at about 10 p.m. November 11, on Highway 180 near Highway 41.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorist had been traveling on the roadway when his vehicle crashed into the center divider for unknown reasons.

The driver exited the disabled vehicle and was struck by a passing sedan.

The collision triggered a separate collision involving four vehicles.

The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.

The collision resulted in a temporary shutdown of the roadway.

No further information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
