2 Injured in Santa Ana Car Crash Involving Police Patrol Car at Main Street and Camille Street


Santa Ana, California (November 11, 2019) – A Santa Ana police officer and a driver was injured after their vehicles collided during a pursuit of a suspect in Santa Ana on Saturday morning.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 2 a.m.  November 9, at the intersection of South Main Street and East Camille Street.

The officer was reportedly responding to a call of a pursuit when he collided with a BMW near the intersection.

One of the vehicles reportedly crashed into a pole after the accident.

The officer and the BMW driver were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.

No further information was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
