Man Struck, Killed by Car on Navajo Road near Powhatan Road in Apple Valley


Apple Valley, California (November 11, 2019) – An elderly man was struck and killed by a car on Saturday night in Apple Valley, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

The accident happened on Navajo Road near Powhatan Road at about 11:47 p.m. November 9.

The police said a 67-year-old Apple Valley man was crossing the street when a minivan that was traveling northbound on Navajo Road struck him.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Alcohol and drugs were ruled out as factors in the crash

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
