Motorcyclist Killed in Collision on Aviation Boulevard in Redondo Beach


Redondo Beach, California (November 9, 2019) – One person was killed in a collision involving two motorcycles in Redondo Beach on Saturday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the 1700 block of Aviation Boulevard shortly after midnight.

Redondo Beach Police said two motorcycles were traveling on the roadway when one hit a curb and crashed into a second motorcycle.

Both riders sustained major injuries in the accident and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.

One of the riders was later pronounced dead.

No further information concerning the accident is ongoing.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
