Apple Valley, California (November 10, 2019) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a minivan in Apple Valley, San Bernardino, on Saturday night.
The accident was reported shortly before midnight on Navajo Road near Powhatan Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officers from the Apple Valley Sheriff’s station received reports of a pedestrian who had been struck by a minivan as he walked east on Navajo Road.
Despite life-saving measures by the paramedics, the pedestrian succumbed to injuries.
The identity of the pedestrian, described only as a Hispanic male adult, was not immediately disclosed.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No further information was provided.
