Jesus Ocampo Hit, Killed by Car at 16th Street and De Haro Street in Potrero Hill, San Francisco


San Francisco, California (November 8, 2019) – 77-year-old Jesus Ocampo of San Pablo has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car at an intersection in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill last week.

According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 8:45 a.m. on November 2, at the intersection of 16th Street and De Haro Street.

Ocampo was reportedly walking in a crosswalk at the intersection when he was hit by a car driven by a 39-year-old man.

The pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to a local hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The motorist was not arrested.

No further information was provided.

An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is ongoing.
